Making A Difference
The right technology makes a difference. At Titan we believe that adding value happens by using a variety of techniques to support, grow, and enhance your design. Building Information Modeling (BIM) helps facilitate collaboration between project disciplines using 3-D imaging that can provide clarity at all project phases. We utilize Revit software to help combine structural engineering and architectural elements for flawless integration. As a structural enhancement, Robot Structural Analysis (RSA) is also applied for simulations and structural analysis.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
BIM
What is it?

Building Information Modeling is a process that allows for building information and graphics to be represented in 3-D model form. This singular model can then be used to replace sets of drawings so that all disciplines in the project can work seamlessly to understand and grow a project. If a picture says a thousand words then a 3-D model speaks volumes for project integration.

Why Is It Important?

This digital image is used as a knowledge source. It provides better communication and information management during a project which can impact cost and time from start-up to completion. BIM assists with estimates and risk management and even allows the opportunity to try solutions in advance of actually building them on site. This modeling provides clarity and continuity which are exactly what you want.

Revit

What is it?

Revit is a software program used to support BIM.  This program enables users to create drawings in multiple dimensions rather than flat lines. Simply put when an element is created in the model it is virtually there because it is represented in 3-D.

Why Is It Important?

This program allows for multiple users to see and work on a process of the project simultaneously which helps increase understanding and communication for everyone involved.  Most importantly it allows the creation of objects in their proper aspect so that dimensions are true to life and not assumed.

Robot Structural Analysis (RSA)

What is it?

Robot Structural Analysis is a structural engineering program that allows for simulation and analysis of complex structures. The software is able to test critical forces on a building such as earthquake, wind, weight, impact and other factors providing us with the ability to design for accuracy and safety. The program is also designed to easily exchange data with Revit allowing excellent collaboration between designers, engineers and architects.

Why Is It Important?

When used in conjunction with Revit, this program aids in our ability to test changes or designs before they happen in the field, decreasing potential conflicts in the overall design process. This saves, time, money and increases performance of your project by keeping our 3-D models as informative as possible, for everyone involved.
